Pottery Throwing Eight Lessons

Experience the fun of learning to throw on the wheel with lessons that fit into your schedule!! Classes are on-going drop-in Monday through Friday 9:30-1:00 and 6-9pm.

Students can change the day and time they attend class each week as the eight classes do not have to be used within one month. When students feel comfortable on their own, uninstructed open studio time is also available on Sunday 9am-9pm. Students use their own bag of clay, which they can purchase at the studio or at Georgies Ceramics. We are using cone 5/6 clay bodies and glaze. Students contribute one pint of glaze per month to our amazing collection of over 300 colors from Amamco, Mayco, Laguna, Coyote and Spectrum. We are brushing and pouring glaze and firing at both cone 5 and cone 6. Learning and demonstrations are tailored to the interests of the students.Hand-building can also be explored.
